Utilization of Solid Waste
PT HutahaeanTapioka Factory itself has a compost management location which is the rest of the production process that is not processed in the manufacture of tapioca flour. The company itself contributes directly by providing the compost to farmers in helping the growth and development of suitable planting especially in terms of the quality of crops around the company.
Waste Processing
Pintubosi area is the final shelter (landfill) of garbage from all areas of Toba Regency. The landfill will be passed if we visit PT HutahaeanTapioka Factory. Due to the large piles of garbage that sometimes cause unpleasant odors, hen PT Hutahaean Tapioka Factory pays special attention and participates in waste management and also operates heavy equipment to control the pile of garbage. From the results of waste management, the landfill area looks neat and can reduce unpleasant odors due to the pile of garbage.
